This new studio was designed to receive eastern sun through the eastern elevation. The ceiling rakes with the roof adding space and light while the exposed roof trusses will add character and explain the structure of the building. Part of the brief was to resolve the water seepage issue in the existing garage. This design seperates the function of the studio wall from that of the retaining wall.
